[714] OBITUARY:{{BANNER JOURNAL, SEPT 28, 1983 Frank J. Svoboda, 79, of 1137 Tyler St., died Thursday, Sept 22, in his home.
[715] He was born May 18th, 1904, at Hixton, to Joseph and Augusts (Lanake) Svoboda. He married Harriet L. Yeske on April 5, 1931, in Black River Falls.
[716] He worked at Allis Chalmers Mfg. Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1966.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Donabel) Gonchoroff of Fresno, Calif., and Loretta Mooney of La Crosse; one son, Donald of La Crosse; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ray
(Amelia) Heelan of Glendale, Az., and Mrs. Kenneth (Levenia) Steltzer of Tustin, Ca.; and one brother, Gavin Svoboda of Hixton.
[718] He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
[719] Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Asbury United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kent D. Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
[720] Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, La Crosse, Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends also may call at the church Monday from 1 p.m. until the service.
