OBITUARY:: Wilas LaVerne Yeskie--The death of Vilas LaVerne Yeskie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Yeskie of Sechlerville occurred Friday October 29, 1926, at 3:30 p.m. at the St. Francis Hospital in la Crosse of spinal manjitices. The end
came very suddenly. Vilas had been in good health up to the time he was stricken with the disease. is condition was not considered critical, he received the best of care, everything loving hands could do for him. But it was God's wish that he
be taken.
[773] Vilas LaVerne Yeskie was born at Disco, Wisconsin July 20, 1924. He was 2 years, 3 months, 9 days of age at the time of his death.
[774] He leaves to mourn his loss, his father and mother, six brothers and five sisters besides a great number of relatives and friends
[775] The funeral services were held from the Melrose Church Monday, Nov. 1, 1926, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. T. P. Jones officiating. Interment was made in the family lot in the Melrose Cemetery.
