NOTES FROM DAU. Jean Densmore--" My fathers name was Harmon Gustav Yeske. He moved to a farm in the Wilton area in the early 1920's. I'm not sure of the year. My mother was a widow and had two daughter, having lost her first husband due
to ulcers of the stomach. She lived on a farm which was near where my father then lived. This was how they met. In time they married and in 1927 I was born. They stayed on the farm until my father suffered a stroke in 1958. They then left the
farm and retired. My father was a tall thin man. Had a quiet, yet very friendly personality.
[99] He was a lover of horses, had many beautiful teams in his lifetime, raised and trained colts. Of Course those were the days before tractors."
[101] Hermann Jeske is listed as a Confirmand in 1902
