!Yeske Name: Source-Laurel Yeske-- There us no current information known of any change to the Yeske name from its European origin by those who came to America, other than the spelling. The Letter "Y" in English, as Yugoslavia, is spelled with
a "J" in common Germanic, and old High German, and spelled with "G" in middle Dutch. As for the ending e, or ie, e is a usual German ending and i, or ie is a usual Polish ending. I learned through my Grandparents Otto Emil Yeske the oldest son
of Carl Emil Yeske, that he was named from his grandfather's first name Otto, and his middle name from his father Carl Emil Yeske.
