[419] OBITUARY: Leonard F. Yeskie, 75 of West Salem, died Monday, March 2, 1987 in Lutheran hospital, La Crosse.
[420] He was born on September 24, 1911 in Jackson County to Fred and Emma (Beck) Yeskie. He married Ruby L. Amborn on September 15, 1934 in Burr Oak.
[421] He was employed by Lakeview County Hospital, now known as Lakeview Health Center, for 30 years, 28 as administrator. He retired in 1973.

Yeskie served as a La Crosse County Board supervisor for 10 years, representing the 28th District. He was a member of the West Salem Lion's Club and tthe West Salem Rotary Club. He was a member of the Melrose and West Salem Rod and Gun
Clubs, and was a past treasurer at Christ Lutheran Church.
[423] Survivors are his wife, Ruby; a daughter, Jan Yeskie of Denver, Colorado; three sisters, Helen O'Hearn of Melrose, Iren Megrath of Whithall, and Marie Bitter of Alma Center; and a brother, Melvin of Melrose.
[424] Funeral Services were held Saturday at 10:30 a. m. in Christ Lutheran Church, West Sal;em. The Reverends Harold Heoppner and Mark Wilde Officiated. Burial in the Burr Oak Lutheran Cemeterly.
[425] Friends called at the fujneral home Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the services.
